It's all relative

In the final days before our trip, the worries I have are very different from Julia's worries.

She's consumed with fear that Butterscotch will escape while she's staying with Moe and Alyse - despite the fact that they have a hamster too and know how to take care of one. This knowledge doesn't seem to console her -- she was even willing to be without her pet for 6 weeks if it meant that her cousin Jack would be looking after her baby. When I explained just how long that would be - almost equal to her summer vacation -- she changed her mind and decided to make a detailed list of instructions for the petsitters.
She doesn't seem to care much how long it took for me to reconcile 1/2 my packing worries (Julia is packed -- I'm almost there) to get to this point - she 's not as impressed as I am after
battling these piles. It's all relative, I guess.
The battle continues this week...

Beautiful! And I recognize the work!!!!!

And re Butterscotch...Bryanna is exactly the same. She trusts that her good friend Brittany will be taking excellent care of our little pig, but as Bryanna says..."I'm going to cry all the way to China."

Ahh, the passion of youth.
